Morning Routine (1)

She would almost always wake up at 9 AM, go get breakfast, then get dressed. He made sure to log every time he watched her. Journals filled on each page, all dedicated to her. Her patterns, her outfits, her habits, anything that he could observe was written down and stored away.

Each day was nearly the same, but he never let changes go unnoticed. Maybe she would wear makeup, maybe she went out bare-faced. He loved those days. Her true beauty would get to radiate to the world and everyone could see his Earth Angel in all her perfect glory. But seeing her concentrate on her makeup was as much a blessing.

His love slid out of bed, and went right for her dresser.

Odd, she was getting dressed before breakfast. He wrote down in his journal, peeking at her from his hiding spot in her room. Perhaps… She was going out to eat?

She slid out of her pajamas, barely giving him any time to sneak a picture or two on her nude form. He decided to enjoy the view, rather than struggle with his phone camera.

Today, she was wearing that blouse he loved so much. It was simple, but she made it look divine. The flashy red made her stand out. It was fitting for someone of her beauty, yet her personality screamed introvert. A woman such as her self was a walking contradiction. He watched her pull on her jeans slowly. The way they hugged her curves suited her with perfection. He chuckled as she stumbled around her room. She was trying to balance and stay awake, obviously still a little groggy. After jumping up and down, then buttoning her jeans, she headed for the kitchen.

To his delight, it was one of those bare faced days.

A big yawn left her lips, making him smile. She slept well last night, never even shifting when he peppered butterfly kisses on her face. It was nice to see she was getting better sleep than normal. So many sleepless nights… It would keep him from getting to have a lengthier visit in her room, but defaulting to standing outside her bedroom window wasn’t so bad. He supposed that pill he slipped in her dinner last night helped knock her out.

She was always so tense around night time. It worried him. Too much stress on her little body might do horrible, irreversible damage. Maybe she had a fear of the dark? If so, he would make sure to bring a night light next time he visits… Yet, he never had seen any other signs of her having fear of anything but being followed. He understood that, however. It was scary to think someone was watching you at every waking moment of the day.

That’s why he watched her and made sure she was safe!

The view from her bedroom window was quite splendid, so he didn’t mind waiting outside. It faced the woods, so he always had an easy getaway if he thought he would be caught by her or any onlookers. He was rarely clumsy and made sure to be stealthy with every move he made. To hell for anyone who would catch him; It would be a misunderstanding. He is no pervert. In fact, he is simply trying to watch over his beloved. If he didn’t… Who would?

Today, he was lucky and got to be in her room while she slept. A rarity, but it wasn’t something he took for granted. He took the time to clean up, snoop through her things, even leave with a few gifts of his own. He took the time to sneak out of her room like he always did, but not before leaving one of his signature notes.

This time, he had tried to write a lengthier set of love letters to keep her occupied. He liked how she would read through them quickly. She was so excited to read them and see what he said, that she would soak up the words. Every letter and note he left was kept in a box. When they became antiquated with each other’s company, she tried to throw away one of his precious letters and gifts. All he did was leave her a flower and a simple love note. She saved the first few, why throw away the gifts that obviously took more time? The nerve she had to throw it in the trash made him…

He was unhappy with her for a while.

But she quickly learned to not cross him. Every couple needed to learn each other’s boundaries. She understood to not take him for granted, and he… Well, he made sure not to watch her shower… All the time.

The memory of his crushed flowers and ripped up love letter sent bitter anger into his veins. She would do this sometimes, throwing away his gifts with rancid disregard. He wouldn’t forgive her for that particular treachery. She should care for the things he makes her. He is always attentive to the gifts he leaves with. How dare she treat his like garbage?

A door opened somewhere in the house. She walked out into the world, sunlight kissing her face… But it couldn’t kiss her face better than he could. He closed the window behind him, whistling to himself.

It was time for them to start their day.
